About Prince Edward Island

For those athletes, coaches, families and fans visiting Prince Edward Island, come early or stay late and plan your vacation on the Island.

There is so much to see and do. Your biggest challenge will be deciding what you have time to do. July in Charlottetown includes the Festival of Lights in Charlottetown where there is lots of fun including fireworks, concerts, and children's activities. You could also golf at one of the many scenic golf courses on PEI. There are scenic routes to drive where there is a picture around every corner. Make sure you take your camera.

In addition, there are lots of other things to do including:

• outdoor adventure such as cycling, deep sea fishing, bird watching, water sports, kayaking, and hiking on our trails.
• visiting our beaches
• travelling our scenic drives
• culture and heritage activities such as walking tours of downtown Charlottetown, visiting Province House a national historic site where Canada was born.
• check out the festivals and events
• check out the miniature golf, antique shops and many of the other attractions
• Anne of Green Gables is a must.
